Age verification required for Roblox chats

Users will now be required to verify their age to use chats on the Roblox gaming platform. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
The platform's CEO, David Baszucki, made an official statement about this. The news was announced in a video published on Roblox’s official page.
According to Baszucki, more than half of the users in New Zealand and Australia have already completed the age verification process. Worldwide, tens of millions of users have verified their information.
The main goal of this change is to make communication within the game safer. Two methods are offered for age verification.
The first is verification by uploading a passport or another photo ID starting from age 13. The second is verification through facial recognition technology.
These measures are aimed at ensuring user safety and creating a healthy communication environment on the platform.
