Heavy snow in Europe seriously affected transportation

Heavy snow and freezing in the northwestern regions of Europe caused difficulties in the transportation system. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
At Amsterdam airport, nearly a thousand passengers were forced to spend the night inside the airport building because hundreds of flights were canceled. Meanwhile, residents and tourists in Paris enjoyed the snow that fell in the city.
They used skis and sleds to enjoy the beauty of winter. According to airport officials, passengers were provided with beds, pillows, blankets, food, and drinks.
However, it is said that transportation disruptions may continue in the coming days. Airlines have paid special attention to delivering the necessary fluids for de-icing the planes.
A number of flights were canceled at airports in Paris, and delays were observed at Brussels airport. The impact of snow and ice affected not only transportation but also led to school closures and road restrictions.
At the same time, stores in Paris are actively operating due to the start of New Year sales. The population is showing great interest in purchasing winter equipment.
In the Western Balkan regions, snow also negatively affected transportation and electricity supply.
