UzNex: Investigation launched regarding TRUMP memecoin
Information has been provided on the official UzNex platform website that an investigation is being conducted regarding a number of crypto assets. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
The list of this investigation includes the tokens A, KWAV, KBH, KHAI, AMF, as well as the TRUMP memecoin associated with former US President Donald Trump. This was reported by "Kursiv.uz".
Regarding this matter, the editorial office of "Kursiv Uzbekistan" sent an official inquiry to the National Agency for Prospective Projects and the UzNex crypto exchange to clarify the reasons for the investigation and its expected duration. According to the information, tokens related to the Trump family were presented to the public in 2025 as part of Donald Trump's election campaign.
At that time, memecoins named OFFICIAL TRUMP (TRUMP) and OFFICIAL MELANIA (MELANIA) were launched and actively promoted on the personal pages of Donald and Melania Trump. The TRUMP memecoin was launched on January 18, 2025, two days before Trump's inauguration, on the Solana network.
According to Coinmarketcap data, the prices of these tokens significantly increased during the initial period. In particular, the TRUMP memecoin reached a value above 75 dollars, while MELANIA was approximately 14 dollars.
