Israel announced that the ceasefire terms with HAMAS have been violated

According to sources from The Wall Street Journal (WSJ), Israel is considering launching new military operations in the Gaza Strip due to the failure to comply with the terms of the 2025 peace agreement with the Palestinian HAMAS group. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
Reports indicate that in negotiations involving former US President Donald Trump, HAMAS fighters were supposed to surrender all their weapons. However, the group agreed only to hand over heavy weapons, preferring to retain over 60,000 light weapons.
This situation has helped strengthen HAMAS's financial capabilities and ensured continuous payments to the organization's members. Additionally, they are working on restoring the damaged infrastructure in the Gaza area.
According to experts, if HAMAS does not fully surrender its weapons, Israel may attempt to enforce this through the use of force. It is known that the first phase of the peace agreement between Israel and HAMAS was signed on October 9.
Donald Trump planned to initiate the second phase of the peace process before Christmas. This phase envisaged the withdrawal of Israeli troops from the Gaza area, the deployment of international stabilization forces, and the establishment of a new administrative structure.
This process was planned to be overseen by the "Peace Council," consisting of representatives from Arab and Western countries.
