Crane collapse in construction in Thailand took two lives

An accident at a construction site in Samut Sakhon province near Bangkok, Thailand, claimed the lives of two people. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
On January 15, a crane used on an overpass under construction collapsed onto the road. According to local police, two vehicles traveling on the road were trapped under the construction structure as a result of the incident.
As a result, two people died, and five others were injured and hospitalized. This incident has once again brought the issue of construction safety in Thailand to the forefront.
Because this was the second major disaster to occur within two consecutive days. On January 14, in Nakhon Ratchasima province, a crane used in the construction of a high-speed railway fell onto a passenger train.
The train was involved in a crash, and it was reported that many people lost their lives. Official investigations have been launched regarding both incidents.
These events highlight the necessity to review safety regulations in the construction sector.
