Shooting at a school in Maryland: one student injured

At the scene, one student was wounded by a gunshot and was immediately taken to a medical facility. Doctors have stated that the condition of the injured student is stable.

According to law enforcement authorities, the suspect is also a student at this school and was apprehended near the school shortly after the incident. The police are conducting an investigation into the incident and have reported that there is no additional threat to public safety.
