Zelenskiy is reconsidering the war strategy

One of the world's leading publications, *The Wall Street Journal*, reported on a secret meeting held by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy with a close circle of advisers. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
According to the publication, Zelenskiy acknowledged that peace negotiations have not yielded results and, considering the possibility that the war may continue for another three years, ordered the development of a new strategy. However, Kyiv officials deny this information.
Presidential aide Dmytro Lytvyn called these reports "fake" and emphasized that there was no talk of long-term war plans. Nevertheless, Zelenskiy’s recent interview, in which he stated that "continuing the fight is preferable to a bad deal," indicates the seriousness of the situation.
On the other hand, former U.S. President Donald Trump is said to have made a "final offer" to Ukraine, but this offer was not acceptable to Kyiv. The latest negotiations also failed to produce positive results on territorial issues.
While Kyiv demands the withdrawal of Russian troops from Donbass, Moscow insists on the unilateral withdrawal of Ukrainian forces and the transformation of the country into a "neutral" zone. According to European intelligence services, even handing over Donbass to Russia would not stop President Putin, as the war has become one of the main pillars of Russian policy.
At the same time, according to *WSJ* sources, Trump is losing interest in resolving the war quickly, and the Kremlin has not abandoned its plan to remove Zelenskiy from power and turn Ukraine into a buffer state between the West and Russia. Among European Union officials, views are growing that the war may last from at least one year to three years.
In your opinion, what kind of compromise should the parties reach to stop the war in Ukraine?
