Mbappe and PSG dispute over 2 million euros

The current champion of the UEFA Champions League and the French league, "Paris Saint-Germain" (PSG) club, is facing a financial dispute with Kylian Mbappe. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
According to the court ruling, the club was required to pay the player a total of 60 million euros. However, Mbappe's legal team has stated that 2 million euros of this amount has not yet been paid.
For this reason, plans are being considered to involve court bailiffs to recover the remaining funds from the player's side. This dispute began based on a court decision from December 2025.
Although the club has paid the majority of the debt, disagreements between the parties continue due to the remaining 2 million euros. PSG management explains the remaining amount is related to tax and other technical issues, while Mbappe's side considers this matter to be of principle.
According to the court ruling, the 60 million euros include the player's monthly salary, signing bonus, holiday pay, and other payments. Initially, the club paid 55 million euros, then transferred another 4 million euros.
However, the issue concerning the final 2 million euros remains unresolved. According to some sources, PSG plans to reach an agreement with the player to settle this dispute, as the court ruling obliges the club to publish this decision on its official website for one month.
However, Mbappe's side has no intention of waiving either the remaining funds or the publication requirement. This dispute is not only a financial matter but has also become an issue of reputation for PSG.
The main question now is how the club will pay the remaining 2 million euros and to what stage this dispute will escalate. The resolution of this conflict is attracting significant interest in the football world.
