A man who had not slept for eight days suffered a mental breakdown

Tommy Greaves, a 32-year-old living in London, was admitted to a psychiatric hospital after suffering a severe mental breakdown as a result of working without sleep for eight days. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
The incident occurred two years ago. Tommy was actively involved in a fundraising project for a charity organization that helps homeless people.
He became excessively absorbed in work and completely forgot to rest. According to Greaves, during his work, his brain was overstrained and constantly occupied with new ideas.
This condition prevented him from falling asleep. As work-related stress increased, he lost control over himself.
Eventually, Greaves' family became worried about his health and had to take him to the hospital. At that time, Tommy had completely lost his mental state and was unaware of the events around him.
He even felt as if he was standing in a television studio, singing and dancing in front of the staff while dreaming of receiving an "Oscar" award. Greaves was treated in the hospital for a month and was discharged after recovery.
Over the next two years, with the help of specialists, he learned to establish a proper sleep routine and organized his life. Currently, he strictly follows a daily schedule and pays special attention to his sleeping time.
