7 new species of beetles have been identified in Uzbekistan and Russia

Scientists from Uzbekistan and Russia have jointly identified 7 new species of beetles. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
The scientific research involved active participation from the Khorezm Mamun Academy and several research institutes. The newly identified beetle species belong to the genus Dailognatha, and specialized studies were conducted on them.
These insects are mainly found in rocky and hilly areas. According to experts, these beetles are beneficial for nature.
They help increase soil fertility by decomposing organic residues. At the same time, their activity plays an important role in maintaining ecological balance.
As a result of this discovery, the number of beetle species belonging to the genus Dailognatha worldwide has increased from 21 to 28. This has further enriched the biological diversity of this type of insect.
