G7 countries will continue to support Ukraine

The world's leading seven industrialized nations (G7) reaffirmed their position on protecting Ukraine's territorial integrity and independence in a joint statement announced on February 24. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
According to the statement, support will continue to be provided to Kyiv to preserve its freedom and sovereignty. The peace initiative previously proposed by former US President Donald Trump is also mentioned in the document.
The G7 leaders expressed their support for efforts to establish direct dialogue between Russia and Ukraine. European countries are expected to play a key role in this process, while other international partners will support these efforts.
Furthermore, the "Group of Seven" emphasized that the final peace agreement should be concluded only between Ukraine and Russia. The statement also paid special attention to environmental and nuclear safety issues.
An agreement was reached to accelerate the fundraising process for restoring protective structures at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant. These measures are aimed at ensuring the safety of the entire continent.
In addition, additional measures to support Ukraine's energy system during the winter season were welcomed. On the issue of human rights protection, the G7 countries fully supported the initiative to promptly and unconditionally return children forcibly taken from Ukraine to their homeland.
This meeting, held under the presidency of France, went down in history as the first joint gathering after Trump's return to the White House. Germany, the United Kingdom, and France issued a separate statement reaffirming their commitment to establishing a stable and just peace in Ukraine.
In your opinion, can this statement by the G7 countries accelerate peace negotiations between Russia and Ukraine?
