Uzbekistan calls Pakistan and Afghanistan to peace
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan has responded to the armed clashes that occurred between Pakistan and Afghanistan. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

The official statement emphasized serious concern over the escalating situation in the border area. The statement called on the parties to immediately cease fire, maintain restraint, and refrain from actions that could escalate tensions.

It was also specifically noted that all disagreements must be resolved only through peaceful means, political, and diplomatic dialogue. The importance of respecting the principles of state sovereignty, territorial integrity, and mutual respect was also highlighted.

Earlier, it was reported that Pakistani forces carried out air strikes on military facilities in the Afghan cities of Kabul and Kandahar. In response, the "Taliban" movement announced that it had struck Pakistani military installations.

Both sides are reporting losses as a result of these clashes. Uzbekistan has called for maintaining peace and stability in the region and urged neighboring countries to engage in mutual dialogue and cooperation.
