Cargo plane crash in Bolivia: 15 people died

A cargo plane belonging to the Bolivian Air Force crashed, causing a severe tragedy. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
The plane was transporting newly printed banknotes for the Central Bank of Bolivia. According to international sources, at least 15 people died as a result of the incident, with the number of casualties still being clarified.
The plane veered off the runway during landing near El Alto International Airport, came onto the road, and damaged several vehicles. The incident occurred in the El Alto area near the city of La Paz.
The aircraft is a Lockheed C-130 Hercules military cargo plane carrying newly printed banknotes. During landing, the plane lost control, went onto the road, and collided with several vehicles.
The incident caused significant damage to the surrounding area. One of the most notable aspects of the event was the banknotes spilling out of the plane and scattering around.
This led hundreds of people to gather at the scene. They attempted to collect the money, which seriously hindered rescue operations.
The police and military deployed significant forces to take control of the area. Reports indicate that tear gas and water were used to disperse the crowd.
Officials from the Central Bank of Bolivia stated that the scattered banknotes had not yet been put into circulation and therefore are not legally valid. The local population was urged to return the money.
Authorities reminded that hiding or keeping the money would lead to criminal liability. According to some reports, part of the money was destroyed.
The exact causes of the crash are currently unknown. Investigations are ongoing.
All flights at the airport have been temporarily suspended. This incident has raised urgent issues not only about transportation accidents but also about security, financial logistics, and public order.
