Conflict in Abu Dhabi: rockets, explosions, and security threat
Tensions in the Middle East have begun to be felt in the territory of the United Arab Emirates as well. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

After Iran launched retaliatory strikes on the US military infrastructure near Abu Dhabi, the UAE became one of the regions seriously affected by the conflict. According to Reuters, although the strikes were mainly targeted at military facilities, their consequences also impacted civilian objects and city life.

According to information, one of the targets was the Al-Dhafra airbase located 30 km from Abu Dhabi. However, the explosions were not limited to the military area alone.

Loud noises, smoke, and warning signals were recorded in Dubai and Abu Dhabi. A fire and smoke were observed near Palm, one of Dubai’s famous districts.

According to official information, air defense systems intercepted rockets and drones directed by Iran, and no major material damage was reported. However, videos and claims circulating on social media have not yet been fully confirmed.

At least one person was killed in Abu Dhabi as a result of a rocket or its debris falling. This conflict directly affected not only the military but also the safety of the civilian population.

Some sources reported explosions near hotels in Dubai, but information regarding these facilities has not been officially confirmed. These events also had a serious impact on city life.

All flights at Dubai airports were temporarily suspended, negatively affecting international traffic. Disruptions were observed in the operations of companies such as Emirates, flydubai, and Etihad.

The conflict negatively affected air traffic not only in the UAE but throughout the entire Middle East region. In conclusion, the UAE has become one of the regions overshadowed by the conflict this time.

Although military targets were the main objective, the explosions, fires, and suspension of airport operations show that the impact of the war did not bypass stable cities like Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
