Iran military leaders reported killed

A list of high-ranking military officials and Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) leaders reportedly killed as a result of joint Israeli and US military strikes has been published by opposition media outlets in Iran. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
This list has further intensified the situation in the Middle East, as it concerns individuals who held senior positions within the country's military and security apparatus. The published list includes names such as Abdulrahim Musavi, Muhammad Pakpur, Ahmad Vahidi, Majid Musavi, Amir Hatami, Aziz Nasirzadeh, and Ali Shamkhani.
According to opposition press reports, while some of these individuals have been confirmed by international news agencies, information regarding others has not yet been officially verified. New information may emerge in the coming hours.
One of the most frequently mentioned reports is based on sources from Reuters agency, claiming that IRGC commander Muhammad Pakpur and Iranian Defense Minister Aziz Nasirzadeh may have been killed as a result of Israeli strikes. Additionally, Ali Shamkhani's name is also included in the list of the deceased, although the reliability of this information has not yet been confirmed.
According to previous Reuters reports, Shamkhani survived the attacks in 2025. There are new claims about his current fate, but official confirmations have not yet been provided.
Information circulating about the other individuals — Abdulrahim Musavi, Ahmad Vahidi, Majid Musavi, and Amir Hatami — remains at the level of claims. It is too early to say that all of them are equally reliable.
Therefore, such lists should be approached with caution. Overall, this list indicates that the Iranian military-political leadership is under significant pressure.
The most important approach in the current situation is to avoid mixing confirmed facts with claims. If many of the names on this list are officially confirmed, it could be a major blow to Iran's state governance and the balance of power in the region.
