Iran refused to resume negotiations with the US

After the conflict between Iran and the US escalated, Iran has no intention to resume negotiations with the US. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
This was stated by Ali Larijani, Secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council. He rejected the statement by US President Donald Trump claiming that Iranian leaders were trying to start negotiations.
According to Larijani, Tehran is not considering the possibility of opening new channels of dialogue with the White House either. He firmly expressed his position on social media: "We will not negotiate with the United States," he wrote.
Yesterday, Donald Trump said in an interview with The Atlantic that the Iranian side wanted to restore dialogue and that they had agreed to negotiations. According to Trump, they want to talk and he agreed to talk.
The US president emphasized that they should have done this earlier, that they need to offer something very practical and easy to implement. He also mentioned that they have waited too long.
