Nearly 100,000 people viewed this video on TikTok. After the investigation, the woman was charged with "violence against children" and summoned to court.
In court, the woman stated that her actions were just a joke and that such videos are popular on TikTok. She believed that many parents have filmed similar pranks and that this is a trend on the platform.
However, the prosecutor took the situation seriously and described the woman's actions as "an attack on the child's dignity." The judge also considered such actions to be "thoughtless and having an unhealthy impact on the child."
As a result, the court found the mother guilty and imposed a fine of 20,000 Swedish kronor (approximately 2,000 dollars).
