Unconfirmed reports circulated about the fate of Ismoil Qooniy

In recent days, reports concerning the fate of General Ismail Qaani, commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps' “Al-Quds” special unit, have been widely discussed in international media and social networks. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
Some sources suggest that the general may have been suspected of collaborating with “Mossad” and executed. However, these claims have not been confirmed by official sources.
According to an analysis by “The National” publication, most of these reports circulating on the internet lack a clear source. They are mainly spread by anonymous accounts on social media.
Similar reports about Ismail Qaani have appeared before. Notably, in the fall of 2024, rumors about his death circulated, but later the general appeared at public events, denying these rumors.
Some reports mention that Qaani surviving several Israeli strikes may have intensified suspicions against him. However, these claims are also not based on reliable evidence.
Given the current situation, it is advisable to approach such reports circulating in the information space with caution and rely only on official statements. Accepting unverified information as truth during an information war can lead to incorrect conclusions.
