America Reveals Its Strategy to Take Control of Iranian Oil
Military processes observed in the Middle East are radically changing not only the regional political map but also the future of the global energy market. Zamin.uz reports on this.

Washington's strategic plans against Iran are no longer a secret. Relying on notable reports from world publications and official sources, it is necessary to focus on a deep analysis of events.

The United States is openly demonstrating its intention to bring Iran's vast oil reserves under its control. An interview given by Jarrod Eigen, Director of the National Council on Energy Leadership, to television sparked significant public discussion.

According to him, this is not just a simple clash, but a long-term political and economic game being played for a resource of strategic importance. The main goal of this process is to seize oil reserves in Iran from the hands of terrorists and achieve significant profits in the long term.

Despite the situation at the Strait of Hormuz, US leaders are not worried. Washington points to recent events in Venezuela as a successful example of achieving its goals.

The military operation carried out in Caracas at the beginning of this year and the arrest of Nicolas Maduro appear to be serving as a roadmap for the US. As a result, after the fall of the Maduro government, major companies such as Chevron managed to significantly increase oil extraction volumes in a short time.

According to Trump, Venezuela's new interim administration agreed to supply high-quality oil to the US. The bombing operation of Iranian cities that began at the end of February was officially called a measure to prevent a nuclear threat.

However, it is evident from the words of politicians that the real goal is different. According to Senator Lindsey Graham, if the Iranian regime falls, the US will have the opportunity to gain significant revenue in the new Middle East.

The storm that arose in the energy market due to restricted traffic through the Strait of Hormuz dealt a serious blow to the world economy. Today, twenty percent of the world's oil and thirty percent of liquefied gas pass precisely through this strait.

Oil prices have exceeded the one hundred dollar level for the first time since 2022. Analysts warn that prices may rise further, reaching one hundred and fifteen dollars.

Disagreements over oil have also arisen between the US and Israel. Although both countries stand in a single line against Iran, differences were observed on tactical issues.

Strikes launched by Israel at the beginning of March against Iranian oil depots were not approved by the White House. The reason is that the Trump administration wants to take over Iran's oil infrastructure in a healthy state and use it under its control in the future, rather than destroying it.

The President stated that he is in favor of preserving oil rather than burning it. In your opinion, what changes will this energy war in the Middle East bring to the global economy and what might happen in the future?
