Pakistan Prime Minister Proposes New Peace System for the Middle East

Pakistan Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif has proposed a new system aimed at stabilizing the serious and complex situation in the Middle East and achieving regional peace. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
In his statement on social media, he stated that Pakistan is ready to create a special platform for any constructive negotiations. According to the Prime Minister, all avenues must be supported to ensure stability both within the region and beyond.
This proposal is currently attracting global attention, as conflicts in the Middle East remain one of the main factors disrupting stability. Earlier, Pakistan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs had called on media outlets to avoid hasty speculation and await official information.
This call was made following reports that negotiations might take place in the future between US and Iranian officials. On March 23, US President Donald Trump announced the restoration of diplomatic relations with Iran and ordered a five-day suspension of attacks on the country's energy facilities.
However, talks conducted by US special envoy Steve Witkoff and businessman Jared Kushner with Tehran have so far yielded no results. The Iranian side continues to reject any direct contact with the United States.
At the same time, countries such as Turkey, Egypt, and Pakistan are actively participating as mediators to establish peace in the region. According to international media sources, Islamabad is being considered a suitable venue for future negotiations involving a US delegation.
If Pakistan hosts such important meetings, it could open new opportunities for the peace process in the Middle East. Each country is striving to contribute its share to ensuring regional security, and Pakistan's initiative remains of great significance in this process.
