Two servicemen committed suicide on the border of Kyrgyzstan

On April 7 of this year, an unfortunate incident occurred at the Irkeshtam border post located in the Osh region of Kyrgyzstan. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
Reports have spread that two twenty-year-old servicemen attempted to commit suicide. An investigation has been launched by the relevant authorities regarding this situation.
According to reports, a serviceman serving under contract was brought to a medical facility in the village of Nura with a head injury. After receiving emergency care there, the patient was urgently transferred to a hospital in the city of Gulcha, the district center.
According to doctor Doyirbek Qodirov, a complex surgical operation was performed on the border guard with the participation of specialists from Osh. Initial examinations showed that the bullet hit the jaw area and exited near the blood vessels around the eye.
Currently, the patient is in a coma and connected to a ventilator. Doctors describe his condition as critical.
Relevant expert examinations have been appointed regarding this case, and investigative actions are being carried out by the military prosecutor's office. According to information provided by the State Border Service, serviceman I.A.
fired a shot from his assigned AK-74 assault rifle. Currently, a service investigation has also been organized to determine the causes of this terrible event.
The circumstances at the scene and the mental state of the serviceman are also being studied. Official agencies stated that additional information will be provided upon the conclusion of the investigation.
