Rustam Nabiyev conquered the summit of Everest using only his hands

Rustam Nabiyev’s life’s and indomitable will have proven to the whole world what results can be achieved, and he has earned his place in the pages of history. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
He became one of the few people who conquered Everest — the highest point on our planet, located at an altitude of 8,848 meters above sea level — using only his hands. His courage is recognized not only in the world of sports, but also as a lofty example demonstrating that human potential is limitless.
Rustam Nabiyev’s life path has not been easy. In 2015, in the city of Omsk, a military barracks building collapsed, resulting in him sustaining severe injuries and losing both of his legs.
Such a tragedy could have plunged many into despair, but Rustam did not give up. He did not lose his love for life; on the contrary, he set great goals for himself and began seriously pursuing mountaineering.
Conquering the highest peaks on Earth became his main goal, and he worked tirelessly toward it. The ascent to Everest ultimately proved to be a complex and perilous journey.
On this arduous path, which lasted more than a week, he faced ice, steep cliffs, and extremely harsh natural conditions. In particular, passing through the area above 8,400 meters — known among climbers as the “death zone” — was a true act of heroism.
There, oxygen deficiency and sudden weather changes pose a serious threat even to completely healthy individuals. Yet Rustam, moving solely with the help of his hands, overcame these challenges with manly determination.
Despite all the difficulties and physical strain, on May 20, Rustam Nabiyev reached the summit of Everest. His achievement serves as proof of how powerful the human spirit can be.
This accomplishment serves as a source of inspiration for millions of people around the world. Through his actions, Rustam Nabiyev has shown that even with limited physical abilities, if a person sets a clear goal, they can conquer even the highest peaks.
