Elon Musk's Starlink internet service officially launched in Kyrgyzstan

One of the richest people in the world, Elon Musk, founded Starlink, a global satellite internet system aimed at providing high-quality connectivity across the entire planet, and it has now officially begun operations in Kyrgyzstan. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
According to the company’s coverage map, Kyrgyzstan is among the countries where residents can fully access Starlink’s internet services. Users in Kyrgyzstan can now visit the system’s official website, enter their address, and learn about the available connection quality and tariff plans in their region.
Currently, several convenient tariff plans are being offered for consumers in Kyrgyzstan. Specifically, the basic package, which includes all necessary equipment, is priced at 27,180 soms—approximately 3.7 million Uzbek soms.
The standard package, offering higher speeds and broader capabilities, is available for 36,270 soms, or about 4.9 million Uzbek soms. The introduction of this modern technology is especially beneficial for residents of mountainous and remote areas where traditional wired or mobile internet infrastructure is difficult to establish, providing them with much-needed connectivity.
The expansion of satellite internet across Central Asia has been progressing rapidly in recent years. In Kazakhstan, the system has already been launched, and the initial pilot project quickly gained public acceptance.
Residents of Tajikistan have also been able to connect to satellite internet since the beginning of this year. Such developments are opening new horizons for the advancement of digital technologies in our region.
There is also encouraging news for our compatriots. According to Starlink’s official strategic plan, satellite internet is scheduled to be launched and made available for use in Uzbekistan throughout 2026.
In the near future, high-speed internet is expected to become accessible even in the most remote regions of our country. It should be noted that Starlink is a global initiative designed to provide reliable, high-speed broadband access from any point on Earth via its satellite constellation.
At the same time, this network is already delivering quality services to millions of people in over a hundred countries worldwide.
