Seven people died as a result of abnormal hot weather in France

At least seven people have died in France due to the abnormal heatwave, according to Zamin.uz.
Temperatures in several regions of the country have exceeded the records set for the month of May. This situation poses a serious threat to public health and has put medical staff on high alert.
According to media reports, five of the deceased drowned in bodies of water, while two others died during outdoor sports competitions. Additionally, dozens of citizens have been hospitalized due to a sharp deterioration in their health.
Doctors report that the condition of some patients remains critical. According to meteorological data, temperatures in some areas of the country’s southwest have risen above 37 degrees Celsius.
This figure has been recorded as one of the hottest May days in France’s history. Such abnormal heat is not limited to France alone but is spreading to other European countries as well.
In particular, while the United Kingdom has also reached record temperature levels, meteorologists in Spain are forecasting a rise in heat up to 40 degrees Celsius. In some regions of Italy, official restrictions on outdoor work have been introduced to protect public health.
Experts link this situation to global climate change and the influx of hot air masses from the African continent. They emphasize that a unique heat dome has formed over the European region, contributing to the prolonged persistence of high temperatures.
Experts warn that such heatwaves may occur more frequently and intensely in the future. At the same time, international forecasting centers indicate that there is a high likelihood of Uzbekistan experiencing a hotter summer this year compared to the usual seasonal norms.
