Tramp pasted his photo on his passport

U.S. President Donald Trump presented a sample of a special commemorative passport prepared for the 250th anniversary of the nation's independence on June 26, Zamin.uz reported.
This passport, to be produced in limited quantities, features the president's personal portrait as its most striking element, according to CNN.
Trump shared an image of the passport on his Truth Social platform, captioning it as the "new U.S. passport." The sample shows Trump standing beside the famous Resolute desk in the Oval Office.
In the background, the original text of the U.S. Declaration of Independence is displayed, while the president's signature appears at the bottom. The back of the passport features a depiction of the famous Declaration of Independence painting by artist John Trumbull.
According to reports, this portrait was based on the official portrait housed in the Smithsonian National Portrait Gallery in Washington, D.C. The design differs from an earlier sample unveiled by the State Department at the beginning of 2026.
On the evening of June 26, the White House's official page also posted an image of the passport mockup, labeling it with the headline: "New U.S. Passport Dedicated to America's 250th Anniversary."
However, when journalists asked whether this design was the final official version, the White House referred them to the State Department for comment. CNN reached out to the State Department for an official statement on the matter.
The special commemorative passport was first unveiled in April as part of the U.S. semiquincentennial celebrations. Officials described it as a document dedicated to the historic anniversary, featuring a special cover and interior pages enhanced with unique design and illustrations.
According to information, once the passport is ready, it will be offered as the standard option to citizens who visit the passport agency in Washington, D.C., in person to renew their documents. Those who apply online or reside in other parts of the country will continue to use the current passport design.
The current U.S. passports feature an artwork by artist Perry Moran on the inside cover, depicting a historical scene from Francis Scott Key's time during the bombardment of Fort McHenry—an event that inspired the creation of the U.S. national anthem.
Additionally, in May, the U.S. Department of the Treasury had advanced plans to issue a new $250 banknote featuring an image of Donald Trump. The proposed design drafts showed Trump's portrait in the center, along with the signatures of the U.S. President and Secretary of the Treasury, Scott Bessent.
