After the Venezuelan earthquake, more than 50,000 people were left homeless.

Following the powerful tremors in Venezuela, more than 50,000 people have been left homeless, according to Earth.uz.
Tom Fletcher, head of humanitarian affairs at the UN, said rescue operations are continuing under extremely difficult conditions. According to the latest data, at least 920 people have died and over 3,360 have been injured as a result of the natural disaster.
Rescuers have been working around the clock to find those trapped under the rubble. The earthquake occurred on the evening of June 24.
Within about 40 seconds, two strong tremors measuring 7.2 and 7.5 on the magnitude scale were recorded. Numerous aftershocks followed the main quakes.
Many buildings have collapsed, and entire neighborhoods have been reduced to rubble in some areas. Families are joining search efforts in the hope of finding missing loved ones.
Officials have warned that the death toll may still rise.
