Venezuelan quake leaves thousands homeless

Venezuela was hit by two strong earthquakes within a few minutes on June 24, Earth.uz reported.
The quakes measured 7.2 and 7.5 on the Richter scale. According to the latest reports, more than 1,430 people were killed and about 68,900 are still missing in the natural disaster.
Search and rescue teams are working day and night to find people under the rubble of collapsed buildings. The first three days are considered crucial, but it is still possible to find survivors later if they have the necessary supplies.
International aid is also arriving. Specialists, medical personnel and equipment have been brought to Venezuela on 17 flights.
