The red flag was raised at the ceremony of the opening of the Tehran Ali Homayouni

At the dome of the Imam Khomeini complex in Tehran, a red flag symbolizing revenge was raised. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
At this religious center, over the past three days, mourning ceremonies were held for the late Iranian supreme leader Ali Khamenei and his close associates. According to international media reports, these events received a significant response across the country.
It is said that during the final hours when Ali Khamenei’s body lay in state at the complex, several million people came to pay their respects. Participants in the ceremony expressed their condolences while holding national flags and portraits of the deceased leader.
The mourning events are not limited to the complex itself but continue in various districts of the capital. In the evening, large gatherings of citizens assembled on Tehran’s main squares to express their condolences to the leadership of the Islamic Republic.
Currently, serious preparations are underway in the city for a massive funeral procession carrying the bodies of Ali Khamenei and his close associates who died alongside him. Iranian officials estimate that between 15 and 20 million people may participate in this public event.
According to Shia traditions, a red flag raised atop a dome signifies the necessity of revenge. This flag bears a special invocation addressed to those who will avenge the blood of Husayn, may Allah be pleased with him.
This symbolic act indicates an intensification of the political and social situation in the region. At present, the streets of the capital are filled with mourners in black, and security forces have been placed on high alert.
