Trampning Ukraina osmonini yopish rejasi Rossiyada xavotir uyg'otdi
US President Donald Trump's ideas about closing Ukraine's airspace to ensure its security have sparked significant international debate, particularly in Russia. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

Russian politicians and military analysts are expressing serious concern that such a move could escalate into a large-scale armed conflict. Below, you can find the key details surrounding this statement and Moscow's stance on the matter.

In a recent interview, Donald Trump touched upon security guarantees for Ukraine, the operation of oil refineries, and ongoing negotiations with the Kyiv administration. When asked about security assurances, he did not completely rule out the option of closing Ukrainian airspace.

At the same time, the US leader noted that if a peace agreement could be reached through other diplomatic means, Washington might refrain from taking such drastic measures. Vladimir Jabborov, a member of the Federation Council of Russia, commented on the issue, emphasizing that closing airspace could lead to an uncontrollable escalation of the conflict.

In his view, such a decision could directly draw many countries into military confrontation and make the situation difficult to control. Senator Trump may not yet fully grasp the consequences of this step, and military advisors are expected to soon explain to him how dangerous the situation truly is.

Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov also shared his position on the idea. According to him, the issue of closing Ukraine's airspace has not been discussed at an official level so far.

Such a scenario would imply direct involvement of NATO forces in the conflict, which would be utterly incompatible with Russia's national interests and security system. Military experts also share a unanimous view on this matter.

As explained by expert Vladimir Orlov, the Western concept of closing airspace implies establishing full control over the airspace in the theater of operations. This would be perceived by Russia's military leadership as an attempt to inflict a strategic defeat on the country.

Another analyst, Ilya Kramnik, believes that the US is not yet ready for such a radical step, as it could directly drag Washington into the vortex of war. In conclusion, it can be said that such statements are further increasing political tensions in the region.
