In Bangkok, the capital of Thailand, a tragic incident occurred in a popular nightclub frequented by locals and tourists, reported by Zamin.uz.

Due to a powerful fire and thick smoke, dozens of people lost their lives, while many others were hospitalized with severe injuries. The incident shocked not only Thai society but the entire world.

Investigators are currently examining the scene and uncovering horrifying details of the tragedy. The fire broke out at night in a relaxation facility near the famous Chatuchak Market in Bangkok.

According to official reports, at least twenty-seven people died in the blaze. A total of sixty-three injured individuals were taken to hospitals, twenty-two of whom remain in critical condition.

Doctors are doing everything possible to save the lives of the injured. It is still unclear exactly how many people were inside the building when the fire started, but the venue had a capacity to accommodate more than three hundred guests at once.

Videos circulating on social media show people desperately trying to escape the intense flames, while thick smoke poured out of the building’s exits. Witnesses said everything happened within a few seconds, and many were unable to get outside in time.

One musician who escaped the venue recalled seeing smoke coming from an automatic circuit breaker near the stage in the first moments of the disaster. Shortly after, the lights went out throughout the building, followed by a loud roaring sound, and the interior quickly filled with thick smoke.

Due to severely reduced visibility, people struggled to locate the exits. According to Bangkok city officials, the fire spread extremely rapidly and reached the roof of the building in a short time.

Preliminary expert findings suggest that most victims did not die directly from burns, but from inhaling toxic smoke. A particularly suspicious detail is that some bodies were found exactly at the fire exit.

Despite the building having four emergency exits, the fact that people remained trapped inside indicates that evacuation routes may have been blocked. Local police and rescue services are continuing their investigation at the scene.

Experts are investigating whether the tragedy was caused by an electrical system malfunction or a failure to comply with fire safety regulations by the management. A criminal case has been opened, and responsible individuals are expected to be held accountable under the law.

This incident highlights the urgent need to reassess safety measures in other entertainment venues across the city.
