Burj Khalifa in Dubai was illuminated in the colors of the Uzbek flag

On September 1, 1991, Uzbekistan declared its state independence.
On this occasion, every year on September 1, the country widely celebrates Independence Day. In 2026, Uzbekistan marked 35 years of independence.
This date was commemorated not only in Uzbekistan but also abroad with various events and symbolic actions dedicated to our country. The display in Dubai attracted attention.
The illumination of Burj Khalifa in the colors of the Uzbek flag brought the festive mood to Dubai’s sky as well. Especially, the nighttime appearance of the structure and its view, harmonized with the illuminated buildings of downtown Dubai and their reflection in the water, created a striking panorama.
Thus, on the occasion of the 35th anniversary of Uzbekistan’s independence, the colors of the national flag were displayed on one of the world’s most famous skyscrapers — Burj Khalifa. This event symbolizes Uzbekistan’s presence on the international stage, its historical value, and the sharing of the blessings of independence with the world’s people.
It was carried out to demonstrate cooperation and friendship with other countries, to introduce Uzbekistan’s famous landmarks, and to showcase the country’s worthy projects on the global stage. This event was not just colorful lighting, but a symbol that conveyed the spirit of independence, unity, and progress to the world.
