A new study has identified the leading countries in the world by the number of millionaires. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
According to the report presented by Global Wealth Databook and Bloomberg, the highest number of millionaires live in Switzerland. In Switzerland, one in every six adults is considered a millionaire.
This situation confirms the presence of economic stability, an efficient financial system, and high-quality banking services in the country. Additionally, Hong Kong, Australia, and the United States also rank high in terms of the number of millionaires.
In these countries, one in every ten citizens is among the millionaires. Such results are related to economic growth, investment climate, guaranteed property rights, and business operating conditions.
Unfortunately, Uzbekistan is not included in this ranking. The number of wealthy individuals is also relatively low in neighboring countries.
For example, in Kazakhstan, 0.5% of the population, in Russia 0.4%, and in Turkey only 0.1% are considered millionaires. According to experts, the low inflation, financial freedom, and secure investment environment in countries like Switzerland, Hong Kong, and Australia contribute to the increase in the number of millionaires.
Moreover, favorable tax policies and the widespread implementation of digital banking services also play a significant role in the wealth accumulation of the population. The report states that while financial inequality is increasing globally, some countries are effectively utilizing this situation to achieve significant successes in capital accumulation and attracting investors.
This, in turn, helps to further strengthen their economic stability
