During the war between Russia and Ukraine, areas inhabited by civilians were once again targeted. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
On the evening of July 15, Tuesday, the Russian Armed Forces launched an attack on the city of Kharkiv using unmanned drones. This was announced by Oleg Sinegubov, head of the Kharkiv regional military administration, through his Telegram channel.
According to him, within 20 minutes, at least 17 powerful explosions occurred in the city. The attack primarily targeted a civilian industrial facility in the Kyiv district, resulting in a fire.
According to reports, kamikaze drones belonging to the "Geran-2" category were used in the attack. As a result of this strike, three civilians were injured and are currently receiving medical assistance.
At the same time, Ukraine did not remain silent and last night launched drone strikes on the Voronezh region of Russia. According to regional governor Alexander Gusev, 27 people were injured in the attack, including four minors.
The condition of some of the injured is reported to be serious. Experts emphasize that the bilateral drone attacks pose a significant threat to the civilian population.
Cities that were previously far from the front line are no longer safe. New threats, victims, and fires are seriously obstructing peace in the region.
Drone attacks threatening the lives and safety of civilians are currently a major test for both countries. The international community must thoroughly analyze the causes of these losses and determine who should bear responsibility.
