Zaluzhny: "The USA is disrupting the world order, while Russia is getting closer to Europe"

The former commander of the Ukrainian Armed Forces (UAF), now Ukraine's ambassador to the UK, Valeriy Zaluzhnyi, sharply criticized the US's international policy. This was reported by The Times.
Zaluzhnyi's Critique: Western Unity at Risk
According to Zaluzhnyi, it is not only geopolitical rivals that are trying to change the world order, but the US is also involved.
"It is not only the arrows of evil that are trying to change the world order… The US is disrupting the world order. It is clear that the White House is putting the unity of the entire Western world into question," he said in a speech at the Royal Institute of International Affairs.
How is Washington Changing European Security?
According to the Ukrainian ambassador, the US is currently trying to shift security issues to Europe. He emphasized that Washington wants Europe to independently ensure its security, which could affect NATO's future.
Zaluzhnyi also mentioned the possibility of NATO's dissolution, noting that this could strengthen Russia's influence in Europe.
"NATO could be dissolved, and Russia would come after Europe," he said.
What is Zaluzhnyi's Political Future?
Valeriy Zaluzhnyi is considered one of the potential candidates who might participate in the presidential elections in Ukraine. According to sources in Ukraine, he has not yet made a final decision about his political future. At the same time, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky's administration is trying to persuade Zaluzhnyi not to participate in the elections.
In the political environment of Ukraine, Zaluzhnyi's future is becoming a highly debated issue. According to reports from "Strana.ua," US President Donald Trump's administration has conducted secret negotiations with representatives of Ukraine's political and military elite. It remains unclear how these negotiations will affect Zaluzhnyi and other Ukrainian politicians.
Zaluzhnyi's statements are generating significant interest in the international community. His criticism of US policy, the potential fragmentation of NATO, and his views on Russia's relations with Europe indicate the increasingly complex geopolitical situation in the world. Additionally, his potential to run for the presidency in Ukraine could further intensify political processes in the country.
