SAIC Volkswagen joint venture factory is preparing to introduce two new hybrid models to the automotive market in the near future. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
The official presentation of these vehicles, named Passat ePro and Tiguan L ePro, is scheduled for May 29 of this year. The new models are expected to attract attention from industry specialists and consumers alike due to their high fuel efficiency and advanced technological solutions.
International media outlets have disseminated information about this news. Both new vehicles are built on the same technical platform and are equipped with a 1.5-liter turbocharged gasoline engine and a powerful electric motor.
Furthermore, the vehicles feature a special transmission system and a battery with a capacity of twenty-two kilowatt-hours. While the internal combustion engine can produce power equivalent to 129 horsepower, the electric motor delivers 117 horsepower.
According to the manufacturer's data, the Passat ePro model is capable of traveling approximately 1,500 kilometers on a full charge. The Tiguan L ePro crossover also demonstrates a similar result, designed for long-distance travel using a single charge and fuel refill.
The exterior design of the Passat ePro model has been completely renewed and fully complies with modern design trends. The front of the vehicle features a slim light strip and an illuminated brand logo.
The vehicle's dimensions have been significantly increased, providing additional comfort for passengers in the cabin. The interior of the car places primary emphasis on digital technologies.
The front panel houses three large screens that display all necessary information for the driver and enable control of the multimedia system. The Tiguan L ePro crossover also embodies new design elements specific to electric vehicles.
Its exterior appearance includes new-type lighting fixtures and distinctive bumpers that catch the eye. The interior of the crossover is also equipped according to modern requirements, ensuring all conveniences for both driver and passengers.
In particular, the newly designed steering wheel and specially developed comfortable seats for the front passenger help reduce fatigue during travel. These models are expected to further strengthen Volkswagen's position in the hybrid vehicle market.
