UzAuto Motors company has presented the updated flagship crossover Chevrolet Tahoe model to the local market. This was reported by Upl.uz.
The car will be sold in the highest High Country trim and official sales will start on September 11, 2023. The recommended retail price is set at 1,464,500,000 soms.
The heart of the Tahoe model is a 6.2-liter V-shaped eight-cylinder engine, which works together with a ten-speed automatic transmission. This powertrain produces 420 horsepower and the car can accelerate to 100 km/h in 8 seconds.
According to the manufacturer’s data, this configuration also helps optimize fuel consumption. The vehicle features an all-wheel-drive system and an adaptive pneumatic suspension called Air Ride.
This suspension allows adjusting the ride height, providing comfort and handling in various road conditions. The suspension works with 24-inch wheels, which is the largest size in the Tahoe family.
The vehicle height is adjusted in real time by pressing or releasing air in the shock absorbers using a central air pump. The High Country version’s exterior stands out with chrome elements, a large radiator grille, and animated LED lights.
It is also equipped with a panoramic roof, automatic retractable running boards, and a hands-free trunk opening system. Inside, the seven-seat cabin is furnished with high-quality materials, including natural wood trims.
The seats are covered with leather and have a heating function; ventilation is also available for the driver and front passenger. The driver’s seat is electronically adjustable in eight directions and alerts with vibrations in emergency situations.
Cabin technologies include an 11-inch digital instrument panel and a Head-Up projection display. The front panel features a 17.7-inch touchscreen compatible with modern smartphones.
A premium BOSE audio system with ten speakers ensures sound quality. For passengers, there is a wireless charging station and Type-C as well as Type-A USB ports.
Safety systems include a front collision prevention system with automatic emergency braking, lane keeping assist, adaptive cruise control, and a high-resolution surround-view camera. There are also systems to assist with reversing and descending.
The name Tahoe comes from the large saline Lake Tahoe located in the Sierra Nevada mountains on the border of California and Nevada states. In 1995, Motor Trend magazine named the Chevrolet Tahoe model the “Best Crossover of the Year.”
