Auto expert Sergey Zinovev spoke about four shortcomings of the Chinese Dongfeng 580 crossover.

According to him, the 1.8-liter engine is a modification of the Toyota 1ZZ-FE, made entirely of aluminum, and is notable for increasing oil consumption and the failure of some sensors. Additionally, the Punch VT3 variator equipped with the 1.5-liter engine version is unreliable and often requires repairs. In some cases, it may even fail before reaching 50,000 km.

Nevertheless, even the most basic configuration of the car includes a keyless entry system, adaptive cruise control, and parking assistance. The ride quality of the vehicle is also not bad.

Previously, Sergey Zinovev had listed the positive aspects of the Changan CS35 Plus crossover.

According to him, the 1.6-liter atmospheric engine has a direct fuel injection system. Most cars are equipped with the Aisin TF-73SC hydraulic automatic transmission, which is considered very reliable. In the expert's opinion, this combination is one of the best.

The expert emphasized that the car does not face any serious problems until it reaches 80,000-100,000 km, only the electronics may occasionally encounter malfunctions. The vehicle's suspension system is sturdy, and the brightness of its headlights is also of high quality.
