Toyota's sales in April declined worldwide

According to GlobalData Automotive, Toyota's global car sales in April this year decreased by 3.1 percent compared to the same period last year, Zamin.uz reported.
In total, the company managed to sell 849,306 vehicles over the course of one month. This decline occurred due to varying changes in market conditions across different countries.
For example, while trade volume in Japan's domestic market increased significantly by 24.2 percent, shipments to foreign countries decreased by 7.5 percent. The sharpest decline was recorded in the Chinese market.
There, sales volume dropped by 25.4 percent, amounting to a total of 106,500 vehicles. Additionally, demand for cars in Middle Eastern countries also decreased by 33.7 percent.
In the United States market, indicators fell by 4.6 percent, with 222,378 vehicles delivered to consumers. Company experts attribute this situation to changes in pricing policy and the transition to the new generation of the mass-market Toyota RAV4 model.
Against the backdrop of the overall decline, a completely opposite trend was observed in the Russian market. According to data provided by the Avtostat agency, 2,789 new Toyota vehicles were registered in this country in April.
This represents a 70 percent increase compared to the same period last year. Such sharp growth is linked to the exceptionally low figures from last year and the rise in corresponding import volumes.
Currently, the majority of Toyota vehicles entering the Russian market are being delivered via China. Although the brand has officially announced its withdrawal from this market, deliveries through private dealers and parallel import channels continue to operate actively.
This indicates that, despite international restrictions, consumer interest in the brand's products remains high. Toyota continues to develop new models and adapt to market demand in order to maintain its position in the global market.
