Car production in Uzbekistan increased by 5 percent

From January to May 2025, 58,900 Cobalt cars were produced in Uzbekistan. This was reported by Upl.uz.

The production of this popular model increased by 2.4 percent compared to the same period last year. By early June 2025, car manufacturers produced 38,700 Damas cars.

This figure represented an annual growth of 24.1 percent. Additionally, the production of the Onix model increased by 8.8 percent, reaching 16,200 units.

The production of foreign brand cars assembled in Uzbekistan continues to grow. The production of Kia cars reached 10,000 units, with an annual growth of 35.6 percent.

Furthermore, in the first five months of this year, 18,000 Trackers, 2,900 Havals, and 5,400 BYD cars came off the conveyor. Overall, during the reviewed period, car manufacturers in Uzbekistan produced a total of 153,800 light vehicles.

This figure demonstrates the stable growth of the country's automotive industry.
