On September 7, the famous opera singer, one of the leading soloists of the Alisher Navoi State Academic Grand Theater, Yanika Bagryanskaya, passed away after a long and serious illness in a clinic in Turkey. This was officially announced by the Consulate General of Uzbekistan in Istanbul.
The Consulate General expressed deep condolences to the deceased's family members and relatives. It was also emphasized that, in cooperation with the Agency for External Labor Migration, necessary consular and legal assistance was provided to the relatives.
Yanika Bagryanskaya became one of the artists who left an indelible mark in the history of Uzbek art. She successfully graduated from the Tashkent State Conservatory in 1996 and, for more than two decades thereafter, won the hearts of many fans on the Navoi Theater stage with her mezzo-soprano voice.
Her stage career was highly appreciated not only nationally but also internationally. Bagryanskaya was awarded the second prize at the international romance competition "Romansiada," actively participated in various prestigious festivals, and was known for her high artistic skill and sincere performance.
