
The famous Uzbek actor and director Sherqo‘zi G‘oziyev passed away at the age of 75. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
The Ministry of Culture announced this. Sherqo‘zi G‘oziyev was born in 1950 in Chirkay village, Buvayda district, Fergana region.
He graduated from the Faculty of Construction at Tashkent Polytechnic Institute, then studied for three years in the directing department of the Tashkent Cultural Teachers' Technical School. In 1971, he enrolled as an external student in the acting department of the Ostrovsky Institute and successfully graduated in 1976.
Starting from 1970, he began performing various roles on stage at the "Teleminiature Theater." From 1978, he worked at the Uzbekistan State Philharmonic.
In 1990, he played the role of a zootechnician in the film "King of the Thicket," produced in cooperation between Uzbekistan and India. He also founded the "Sherxon" studio and, in collaboration with Indians, created the comedy film "Sherxon the Tractor Driver" in 2006 and the melodrama "You Are Not Alone" in 2008.
Sherqo‘zi G‘oziyev also acted in many films such as "Revolt of the Brides," "Children of Tangalik," "Iron Woman," "Iron Man," "Golden Wall," "Sarvinoz 2," and "Jiblajibon." Through his contributions to art, he left a deep impression in the hearts of many viewers.
