Colin Farrell admitted that he experienced one of the most uncomfortable moments in his acting career during the filming of the movie "Minority Report." This was reported by Zamin.uz.
He spoke about this on The Late Show. This sci-fi thriller was directed by the famous director Steven Spielberg, based on the story of the same name by Philip Kindred Dick.
According to Colin, one day after celebrating his birthday, he arrived on set not feeling well. Because of this, he had to do 46 takes to shoot a simple scene.
"It was the worst filming day of my life. My birthday was May 31.
I had asked the film producers for permission not to work the next day, but the schedule did not allow it. I had to be on set at 6 a.m.," Farrell said.
According to him, the birthday night went much harder than planned. The actor woke up in the morning to a call from his driver and was not feeling well.
On the set, the assistant director David Venghaus immediately noticed Colin's condition. He told Colin that he could not work in such a state, but the actor asked for help to change the situation.
Colin Farrell admitted that he struggled to say his lines that day. "I couldn't say a simple sentence: 'You understand the fundamental paradox of pre-crime methodology.' It was very difficult," he said.
The filming crew tried to help him, but the situation did not improve. As a result, 46 takes were done for a single episode.
According to Farrell, this event was one of the most uncomfortable moments in his career. He apologized to the entire filming crew and said that this experience taught him a great lesson.
