Nebahet Chehre: The Eternal Valide-sultan of the Great Century
Nebahet Chehre, known to thousands for her role as Valide-sultan in the series "The Great Century," is one of the brightest representatives of the Turkish film industry. This was reported by Upl.uz.

Although she turned 81 on March 15, 2025, her appearance seems to many to correspond to her youth. She is also referred to as the Turkish Monica Bellucci, as she maintains elegance and femininity despite the passing years.

This article will touch upon Nebahet Chehre's life, career, and the secrets of her beauty, which present her as a symbol and example of style. Nebahet Chehre was born in 1944 in the city of Samsun, located in northern Turkey.

Her father was a lawyer, who passed away when she was five years old. After her father's death, her mother moved to Istanbul with Nebahet and her siblings.

It was here, at the age of 15, that she won the title of "Miss Turkey." This victory opened the door for her to enter the modeling industry, and she soon became a star.

As more people began to recognize her face, her photos started appearing on the covers of magazines. However, Nebahet Chehre did not limit herself to modeling.

She also tried her hand at music, took vocal lessons, and recorded several songs. But her true calling was cinema.

In the 1960s, she made her debut on the big screen and quickly became well-known in Turkey. The actress starred in nearly 90 films and series, becoming one of the most sought-after actresses in the country.

Her worldwide fame came after her role as Valide-sultan, the mother of Suleiman I, in the series "The Great Century." Her portrayal of a strong yet wise and elegant woman left audiences around the world in awe.

This role became one of the most significant in her career. Interestingly, in real life, Nebahet Chehre has no children, yet she beautifully conveyed maternal love on screen.

Additionally, she became friends with young actress Beren Saat. They became a model of friendship that evolved from professional relationships into genuine support.

Nebahet Chehre's personal life was as rich as her career. In the 1960s, she married the famous Turkish director, actor, and screenwriter Yilmaz Guney.

Their marriage did not last long and ended in divorce in 1968. At that time, Guney's influence in the film industry was so significant that many directors refrained from offering Chehre serious roles, fearing the impact of her ex-husband.

Later, the actress linked her life with Galatasaray basketball player Yavuz Demir. She temporarily paused her acting career for this marriage, but it also did not last long.

After her second divorce, Nebahet Chehre began acting again and regained the affection of audiences, proving that she would not lose her mental strength despite difficulties. Nebahet Chehre does not hide her age and is not afraid of conversations about aging.

She shares her unique habits for staying healthy and beautiful. Among them, she drinks water with lemon juice every morning, goes to the bath every two weeks for a deep skin cleansing treatment.

For over twenty years, she has used the same moisturizing cream based on natural plants. She engages in daily outdoor walks and light physical exercises.

In her diet, she maintains moderation and refrains from overeating. As for plastic surgery, Nebahet Chehre approaches it with caution.

She previously tried to correct the wrinkles under her eyes, but this process led to complications. Her most radical procedure was laser treatment of the skin around her lips, after which she refrained from such interventions and
