Famous Russian artist Filipp Kirkorov was hospitalized in one of the hospitals in Moscow due to a deterioration in his health after suffering a burn during a performance in Saint Petersburg. This was reported by Upl.uz.
According to sources, complications related to the long-term healing of the injury were exacerbated by diabetes. Doctors diagnosed Kirkorov with bursitis, which is inflammation of the joint resulting from the burn in the hand area.
The artist is currently undergoing daily bandaging procedures. To prevent his condition from worsening, doctors have prohibited him from traveling by air.
According to information from the artist's representatives, Kirkorov has been under medical supervision for two weeks. Medical staff are taking all measures to stabilize his health.
Complications, especially due to diabetes, are making the recovery process more difficult. Doctors have established a special treatment regimen to reduce inflammation and promote faster healing of the injured tissues.
Additionally, rumors circulated on social media about the artist's implants rupturing, but plastic surgeon Timur Khaydarov denied this information. He emphasized that Kirkorov's health issues are only related to the burn and its consequences, and not to cosmetic surgical procedures.
The artist's representatives confirmed that he is in the hospital, but did not provide detailed information about his health condition. Bursitis, as identified in Filipp Kirkorov, can arise not only from injuries—burns—but also from repetitive movements or prolonged pressure on the joints.
This condition is often found among artists who are involved in active stage performances and physical exertion.
