A new ring road has been commissioned in Ishtikhon district

A new bypass road with a length of four kilometers has been completed and commissioned in the Ishtixon district of the Samarkand region. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
This important infrastructure project was constructed to eliminate traffic congestion in the district center and to bring transport connectivity between Mitan village and the internationally significant M-37 highway to a new qualitative level. The opening ceremony of the project was attended by the Governor of Samarkand region, Adiz Boboyev, and the First Deputy Prosecutor General, Bahriddin Valiyev, who emphasized its significance in developing the region's road and transport system.
The total cost of this project amounts to forty billion soums. According to expert calculations, the launch of the new road will significantly ease traffic flow in the district center and make it possible to reduce congestion by forty percent.
Additionally, this road plays an important role in reducing transit time for freight vehicles traveling towards the Kushrabod, Katta Kurgan, and Payariq districts. As part of the construction work, a new bridge seventy-three meters long and fifteen meters wide was also erected.
The road infrastructure is designed to provide maximum convenience for the population. In particular, three and a half kilometers of pedestrian and bicycle paths specially adapted for persons with disabilities were organized.
Two modern bus stops were built in the area, and one hundred and fifty-five solar-powered lights providing nighttime illumination were installed along the road. Such construction efforts serve to ensure the safe and convenient movement of the district's residents.
