Imports of perfumery products to Uzbekistan increased by nearly fourteen percent

During the first four months of 2026, Uzbekistan imported perfumery and cosmetic products worth a total of $1.3 million from foreign countries. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
According to data provided by the National Statistics Agency, indicators in this sector increased by 13.8% compared to the same period last year. This reflects the growing demand for beauty and personal care products in the country year after year.
In the reporting period, Turkey was the leading supplier of perfumery products to the Uzbek market, with imported goods valued at $417,000.
Turkish products maintain their leading position due to their quality and pricing, which have gained popularity among local consumers. Russia and France follow in import volume.
Perfumes worth $245,600 were imported from Russia, and $235,200 worth from France, recognized as the global center of the perfumery industry. Additionally, the Czech Republic supplied goods worth $197,100, and Belarus contributed $41,100, placing them in the top five.
The remaining share of imports from other countries worldwide amounted to $203,100. The presented analytical data indicate that Uzbekistan’s foreign trade relations are expanding, and the population’s purchasing power and interest in various brands are steadily increasing.
In particular, competition among Turkey, Russia, and European countries in the perfumery market is intensifying, which in turn offers consumers a wider range of choices.
