In Uzbekistan, the volume of beverage production increased by more than 11 percent

The State Statistics Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan has published a report on the results of the beverage production industry for the first five months of the current year, Zamin.uz reports.
According to the data, large enterprises across the republic produced beverage products worth a total of 11.6 trillion soums from January to May 2026. This indicator shows significant growth compared to the same period last year.
In particular, production volume increased by 11.3 percent compared to the corresponding period in 2025. This positive dynamics indicates the active development of the food industry and processing sectors in the country.
Regional analysis shows that the main share of production falls on the capital city of Tashkent. Over the five months, Tashkent produced goods worth 7.2 trillion soums, maintaining absolute leadership in this sector.
Next in line are Tashkent Region with 1.8 trillion soums and Khorezm Region with 867.8 billion soums. Additionally, Namangan and Samarkand regions demonstrated stable production volumes, amounting to 480.4 billion and 430.3 billion soums, respectively.
Other regions also recorded their own results in beverage production. Specifically, Bukhara Region produced 217.2 billion soums, the Republic of Karakalpakstan produced 180.2 billion soums, and Kashkadarya Region produced 96.9 billion soums.
In Fergana, Syrdarya, and Andijan regions, production indicators ranged from 65 billion to 85 billion soums. At the lower end of the list are Surkhandarya, Jizzakh, and Navoi regions, indicating significant potential for further strengthening industrial capacities in these areas.
Overall, the growth in beverage production across the country contributes to both satisfying domestic demand and enhancing export potential.
