A woman named "Shahnoza," currently residing in Turkey, promised two women living in Almalyk, Tashkent region, that she would help their daughters come to this country, welcome them herself, and help them earn good money. She convinced the girls that there were job opportunities in "facial massage," but she intended to exploit them for sexual purposes and covered their airfare and other expenses for traveling from Uzbekistan to Turkey.
Two 19-year-old girls arrived in Ankara, Turkey, through Tashkent International Airport on February 6 of this year, then reached Konya province. Three individuals (citizens of Turkey and Uzbekistan) who met them immediately took their passports.
After that, they were taken to a house providing intimate services and forced to provide sexual services to men. One of the girls was beaten for refusing and was subjected to psychological and physical pressure. They were kept in a closed environment and threatened with death if they resisted again.
Based on information obtained by the rapid response team of the Tashkent region Internal Affairs Directorate on February 12, as a result of operational measures carried out in cooperation with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and law enforcement agencies of the Republic of Turkey, two girls born in 2005 were successfully returned to Uzbekistan. The girls were immediately placed in a rehabilitation center.
Additionally, the individuals who deceived the girls into coming and involved them in sexual activities were detained in Turkey. A criminal case was initiated against a citizen of the Republic of Uzbekistan, a woman born in 1987 (Sh.J.), under part 2 of Article 135 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
Currently, measures are being taken to extradite this individual to Uzbekistan.
