The man had multiple stab wounds, and according to investigation data, his head was covered with a bag. This incident, which bears signs of a crime, occurred in the village of Lisiy Nos, part of the Primorskiy district of Saint Petersburg.
This area is located on the northern shore of the Gulf of Finland. An operational team arrived at the scene on Friday morning, August 15.
The man they found was in serious condition. According to preliminary information, based on the victim's words, the incident began the previous day, Thursday.
He reported that he was forcibly taken into a car by a group of unknown individuals in the city of Sestroretsk. The criminals covered his head with a bag and took him to an unknown location.
He was then inflicted with injuries from a cold weapon and left in a clearing near the forest. Currently, the motives of the attackers are unknown.
The victim was hospitalized to receive necessary medical assistance. Law enforcement agencies of the Russian Federation are conducting a comprehensive investigation and operational measures regarding the incident.
The goal is to clarify all circumstances of the incident and to search for persons involved in the crime. A criminal case has been initiated, the investigation is ongoing, possible witnesses are being questioned, and video surveillance recordings from the scene are being examined.
