According to initial information, a 21-year-old woman left her 7-month-old child on a street in the Oqdaryo district of Samarkand region and hid herself.
Currently, the district internal affairs department is conducting pre-investigation checks regarding the incident.
The child has been placed in a children's home intended for infants in the district, and necessary care is being provided.
The identity of the woman living in the Syrdarya region has been determined, and the process of providing a legal assessment of her illegal actions towards her child is ongoing. Additional information will be provided on this matter, the report states.
